Send one, train many, heal the world is the motto of Physicians for Peace. Supporters and volunteers gathered to celebrate the world-wide efforts of the organization founded by the late Dr. Charles Horton, Sr. Four outstanding recipients were recognized. Harvey Lindsay, Jr., Chairman, Harvey Lindsay Commercial Real Estate received the Presidential Award. Volunteers of the Year 2011 Medical Diplomat Awards went to: Physician - Josephine Penny Bundoc, M.D., Volunteer Director, Physicians for Peace - Philippines Walking Free Program; Healthcare Professional - Emily Tinsley, RN, MSNED, International Burn Care Educator and Consultant; and Mission Support
